I love newborn babies. I love their tiny feet and toes. The way they grab onto mom's finger. I love the little sounds they make and the way they cuddle up with their mama.
I love babies. I love that they are fascinated by anything and everything. I love the excitement they get when they discover how to do something new. Their giggles, squeals, smiles, dimples, first words and first steps.
I love children. The way they are playing shy one minute and a social butterfly the next. How excited they get telling a story. Little versions of their parents, yet their own unique personalities.
I love families. Older siblings speaking for and protecting the little ones. Parents so proud they are beaming. Everyone smiling, laughing and having fun. Cuddling with the family pet or playing in the sunshine. Kisses, hugs, smiles and high-fives.
I love love. The excitement of a newly engaged couple. Their enthusiasm and zest for life as they embark on a journey together that will last the rest of their lives. I love their passion for each other. Their stories, laughs and hearing their plans. And, that look they get when they see each other for the first time on their wedding day? I get teary just thinking about it!
These are some of life's most precious and important milestones. Moments in time that if you could, you would freeze just to have them last a little longer.
