Even though it is sort of the last official weekend of summer,
every year we look forward to Labour Day weekend in our house...because
with Labour Day weekend comes the Paris Fair! And, we ALWAYS are
crossing our fingers for nice weather.
Well this year half the weekend had BEAUTIFUL weather and
the other half...not so much. However, fortunately for us, the weather
was gorgeous for the first half of the long weekend...and not only
because of the fair, but this year we had the privilege of capturing
Mandi & Dan's big day!!
It was an extra special day! Not only were Dan and Mandi
tying the knot with each other, but each brought a beautiful daughter
into the union and the foursome became a family...officially!!
We loved the extra little touches that were added to the
day in order to include the girls and to really signify that it was
about their family and not just the two of them. It was a small,
intimate affair, but the love was enormous!
The ceremony and reception were held at the Hampton Inn
& Suites and we headed over to the Glynhurst Art Gallery for photos.
The girls all looked gorgeous in their gowns with their custom hair
pieces that Mandi had made for the day. I loved the flowers...so I asked
Mandi who had done them...Sobeys! I would never have thought that they
did wedding flowers, but they do and they did a beautiful job!!
We
had a great time celebrating with Mandi, Dan and their family &
friends! Our table-mates kept us laughing most of the evening and the
party was in full force by the time we made our exit!
Congratulations to Mandi and Dan and also to Kendra and
Nya!! You guys have been a family for quite some time, but now it's
OFFICIAL!!!

love this pic...Mandi and Dan are looking fabulous of course, but
actually the cloud of fog ready to consume them is what gets me...and
consume them it did!! I don't know what was happening, but 3 seconds
after this picture...you couldn't see ANYTHING! Whoops...fog machine
fail! Haha
